Bushmans Kloof
Cederberg Mountains
Nestled at the foot of the ancient Cederberg mountain range, deep in the Cape this award winning escape promises to restore and relax your senses.

It is a wilderness reserve with original 1000 year old san bushman paintings (national heritage sites) which you walk to see after your bush breakfast, underneath the most amazing brown, twisted rock formations. Meals are taken really seriously with contemporary Cape cuisine, bush breakfasts before you go on a guided walk to the San bushman paintings and world heritage sites, veggies and herbs from their own organic kitchen garden for lunches then a big high tea, followed by the evening game drive snacks and sundowners at an extraordinary lookout spot with an awesome view then back to the lodge for dinner!

We just love the fact that you can have a fantastical, delicious organic dinners in different spots, in the trees with fairy lights, outside at Embers which is a natural ancient sandstone amphitheater lit up with hundreds of candles and lanterns, a secret dining spot dangling your feet in the waterfall with fairy lights, or dinner and drinks and cocktails by the fireplace in the Homestead on star spangled nights.

It has gorgeous, sumptuous, big bedroom suites with luxury ensuite bathrooms and wonderful views. Plus an exclusive, intimate villa on its own in the reserve for families and friends. Bushmanskloof is really a total treat; the staff’s attention to detail is extraordinary down to a special little bedtime story on your pillow when they dim the lights. There is lots to do or as little as you want - charge off on a hike through the mountains, or amble for a little walk, swim and canoe in the pools and dive into the most fabulous spa to completely revitalize yourselves.

A truly perfectly romantic hideaway in a unique part of the world.
