All meals are fully catered and prepared to the highest standards… Motswari does have an option (fully supplied) where all the food and drinks has been pre-ordered to the guests specifications when the booking is finalised and packed into the fridges and cupboards for the guests to organise and cook their meals as they wish. Motswari staff will of course spoil guests where after their evening game drive they will find their evening fires lit, table laid etc. Motswari Private Camp has minimum electricity (but it does have an i-pod docking station), though the evening lighting will be mainly provided by candles and paraffin lamps..which are much more romantic. You can also decide to take a Motswari trail walk with a ranger, for an unmatched African wildlife experience on the nature reserve. The incredible team of staff will take care of you, everything from cooking, cleaning and tending to your needs. This team will make sure that all you need to do on your holiday is sit back relax, and have a great time. Motswari’s wild 12,000 hectares runs alongside the Kruger National Park with no fences in between. Close to the Blyde River Canyon and directly adjacent to the famous Kruger National Park, surrounded by pristine bushveld, lies Motswari Game Reserve. The open boundaries allow the wildlife to move freely across the land – a decision supported by like-minded land owners in decades past. The boundary fences were removed to promote the natural movement of the animals on the reserve in 1992, uniting the government owned Kruger Park, and privately owned Timbavati. Now the animals enjoy uninterrupted wilderness that covers over 35,000 square kilometres, an area larger than Belgium. Here, on the dry expanse of the African bushveld, you’ll experience the Big 5 – living naturally and without human interference. The lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino are just some of the highlights you’ll see in Motswari Game Reserve’s open-top safari tour. All of the safaris are led by experienced game rangers, who have in-depth knowledge of the indigenous flora and fauna that has existed in the reserve for centuries. These game rangers are passionate about nature conservation, and educating guests on the bush and its inhabitants. Leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino are some of the highlights you will see! |
