Handpicked for you...

The small town of Franschhoek stands as one of the most quaint and whimsical gems of the Western Cape Province. Aptly named the ‘French Corner,’ this marvelous little valley is home to some of the world’s most magnificent functioning vineyards. With its lush, mountainous surroundings and picturesque small-town charm, Franschhoek welcomes its visitors with all the fineries of sumptuous Cape living.

La Cotte Farm remains one of the oldest estates in the area, granted to its original owner in 1694. As well as the main house (see separate listing) there is a row of eight workers cottages which have been thoughtfully restored. Comfortably decorated with simple white washed walls, squashy sofas and colourful throws they share a vast pool with shady pavilion thus creating the perfect spot for a large group of friends and family to gather. Or indeed for a couple or family of four to enjoy a delightful retreat close enough to Franschoek to walk back from a long, boozy lunch. Tune in to birdsong and take in the vineyard and mountain views…simply heavenly!

The Forest cottages at La Cotte comprises of eight self-catering cottages.

A maximum of 16 adults & 14 children can be accommodated.
