Suburban tropical splendour
Ayodele assumes the island life, in the sublime suburb of Constantia, where groups can gather on the grounds of this luxury contemporary villa, beneath Cape Town’s Table Mountain.
Apparently, the name Ayodele intimates that ‘joy has come home’. Well, that certainly does appear evident in every aspect of this Constantia villa. Every room, every view, every element of comfort brings you exactly that. Joy in the mammoth living, dining and entertaining spaces. Joy through the expansive double volume glass doors and windows that escort you out into the garden. Introducing itself as joyous outdoor reclining spaces. Looking up at the mountain, walking around the garden, entering the lazy lounging areas and gathering around the kitchen puts an excitable spring in your step and smile on the dial. With all of the joy, comes an understated luxury. Smothered in the delightful ambience of one of Cape Town’s most sought-after suburbs.
Although this grand hideaway is less than a 20-minute drive from the city, it leads you to believe you’ve landed on your own Robinson Crusoe island. With tropical trees bearing fruit, narrow, wild pathways hidden in the many acres of garden, a clay tennis court, an infinity flow swimming pool, and lots of little spots to take shade beneath the palms and frangipani trees, sucking in all of that joy! So many places for the whole clan to let the lovely laidback moments of your holiday unfold.
Ideal for multigenerational family getaways, this hideaway can accommodate as many as ten of you, in the five spacious bedrooms. There’s a cinema room, ample dining space, living and entertaining areas that cater to the bon vivant of the team. SONOS systems for the mood setters. Indoor and outdoor braais, and a bar. A pool and ping pong table, and of course all of the lovely garden nooks worth exploring.
Family tournaments and trophies
You’ll spend your days in and out of the pool, on and off the court, around all of the gathering spaces and relaxing in the generous suites. But you’ll also head out and explore the surroundings. Plenty of visits to the neighbouring wine farms, where you’ll taste the finest vintages and dine in their esteemed restaurants. Early morning mountain hikes and afternoon beach missions. With the city centre being a scenic drive away, you can dip in and out of town with ease, absorbing the magic of the Mother City. Pivoting from the place that brings you joy. Ayodele will furnish you and your friends, family members, and extended guests with an unforgettable stay. Pandering to those travelling hearts that love a little tropical island suburban bliss!
What we love!
- Sending time in the truly magnificent garden, amongst exotic palm, frangipani and lemon trees, agapanthus, strelitzia, and herb and vegetable gardens. There for your sourcing. All the while admiring the magnificent views of the mountain.
- Having a delicious morning coffee on the verandah, watching the sunbirds dip into the pool and sweep around the garden.
- There’s nothing like a cinema session with the whole clan, watching some family classics on the projector screen as you end off another magical day.
- Swimming in the pool then lounging on the lovely daybeds, reading and lapping up the energy of the mountain.
- Whilst some of you might be snoozing in your own suites in the afternoon, others will be in the kitchen, or on the tennis court. Some might be in the swimming pool, others playing games and keeping up the holiday competitions…there’s an abundance of space that either segregates or congregates, depending on what you and your clan fancy.
