The rugged cliffs of the protected George Private Nature Reserve, just outside the Garden Route town of George, stretch down to the coast between Victoria Bay and Ballots Bay, both beautiful swimming beaches and surfing spots. Clad in indigenous fynbos and forests of milkwood trees, the views are spectacular. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, including kayaking in the Kaaiman’s River or at Ebb & Flow in Wilderness, trails at Circles in the Forest near Rheenendal and a mountain bike park nearby.
