A traditional Italian village, Lorenzana is south west of Florence and close enough to pop to Pisa or Lucca for the day. It’s also near beautiful San Gimignano, with its thirteen towers and labyrinthine streets to explore. Nothing much has changed here over the years and the bells of San Bartolomeo and San Cristoforo are bound ring out on arrival. A spa and wellness centre called Casciana Terme is a short drive away, while Salvadori beach is closest to Lorenzana.
